Blue NileTo the Egyptians the River Nile represented the center of their world, and the origin of all life. Its waters made the lands fertile, fed the crops, and allowed the Delta region of Egypt to prosper. At its most beautiful and calm, the Nile is blue. Blue Nile was created to represent hat nature of the river. The piece is made of blue glass beads in seed, bugle and round shapes. Adding to the visual texture of this piece are metallic silver painted seed beads, silver bugles, and Hematite accents in tubes and rounds and arrowhead shapes.
